The Advisory Board Council
The Advisory Board Council serves two functions:
- Providing strategic advice to the Ministerial Forum and assist in achieving g7+ purposes consistent with the principles of Volunteerism, Solidarity and Cooperation.
- Help in facilitating national dialogue and reconciliation in member countries in time of crisis.
The experience of Advisory Council members contribute to shaping the strategic direction and organisational development of the g7+. It is comprised of eminent persons such as heads of states/governments (former and/or incumbent). The council was established at the 3rd Ministerial meeting held in Lome, Togo in May 2014.
