In the time of shifting global cooperation, the g7+ member states are committed to strengthen their collective capacity and potential to address pressing national challenges.

Hence, the g7+ Rapid Response Advisory Center (RRAC) is a dedicated mechanism established to provide fast, expert-driven assistance to g7+ member states facing urgent and complex national challenges. The center reflects the collective commitment of g7+ countries to mutual support, national ownership, and practical cooperation in advancing peace, stability, self-reliance and sustainable development.

Created following consensus at the 6th g7+ Ministerial Meeting and formally launched during the g7+ Summit on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Rapid Response Center represents an important part in strengthening the capacity of g7+ countries to respond effectively to high-stakes legal, economic, and governance challenges.

Supported by the g7+ foundation, the Center embodies the organization’s founding principles of solidarity and vital tool for cooperation, and collective strength. It reflects the recognition that an increasingly complex global environment, timely access to trusted professionals can shape national trajectories and protect long-term development priorities.

What the Center does

The Rapid Response Center is designed to support Member Countries when confronted with time-sensitive situations that require specialized expertise, rapid coordination, and strategic guidance.

It provides free of charge legal advisory support, guidance for negotiations on natural resources and infrastructure, assistance with contractual disputes involving foreign companies, governments and advice for investment and governance decisions under tight timelines.

Initially he Center’s core mandate centers on legal and negotiation-related challenges, it aims to evolve and serve as a platform for broader crisis-related advisory support when national stability, governance, or institutional resilience is at risk.

Through this mechanism, Member Countries can access expert advise at critical moments— ensuring that decisions made under pressure are informed, coordinated, and aligned with long-term national priorities.

How the Center Helps

Member States have direct access, at no cost, to a network of legal practitioners, negotiators, technical specialists, and strategic advisors. The RRAC provides rapid technical advice on legal disputes and arbitration, guidance for high-stakes negotiations, analytical input to inform urgent decision-making, and coordination with relevant institutional partners. This approach ensures governments can act effectively within tight timeframes, protect legal and procedural rights, conduct negotiations based on strong technical foundations, and keep national priorities at the center of decision-making.
