The g7+ WTO Accession group ministerial meeting took place on 12 June 2022 in the margin of the 12th Ministerial conference of World Trade Organization (WTO).

The Co-coordinators emphasized the importance of the group as a platform to raise the voice of g7+ countries in the world Trade system and to share experiences on the accession proccess.
H.E. Minister Francis M. Kai-Kai, Minister of Planning and Economic Development of Sierra Leone and Chair of g7+ emphasized on the peace-trade nexus and calling for support to the Trade for Peace initiative. He also highlighted the need for more inclusive World Trade policies and called for increased and equitable participation of conflict affected countries in trade.
Honorable Mawine G. Diggs, Minister of Commerce and Industry of Liberia concluded the meeting by quoting the Former Afghan Minister during the Ministerial Conference when the group was established, “Let us be in the driving seats rather than being mere observers in the World Trade system”
